And now, neither of them has any rift with the other. Recently, during the release of his docuseries, the former Yankees captain weighed his opinion on the decades-old matter.
Derek Jeter has no beef with Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez
At times, Derek Jeter and A-Rod have always said that they have moved on from the past. But that incident did create a rift in their relationship for a while. Per an exclusive interview with TIME, Jeter once again re-affirmed that he has no issues with A-Rod so far.
“I have no issues with Alex. None whatsoever. We’ve had conversations. The past is the past. It’s over and done with. You’ve got to remember, this was a long, long time ago. People evolve over time and they change. You have life experiences. I have zero issues with Alex,” said Jeter.
This comes after the release of the ESPN-produced docuseries. Notably, there is a special episode on Jeter’s feud with Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez.

Jeter and A-Rod started their MLB career almost at the same time. The Yankees fans were lucky enough to have two of the best players of their generation play for their team.
Considering his dedication and selfless contribution to the game, MLB honored Derek Jeter with the Hall of Fame induction in 2020. Talking about the docuseries ‘The Captain,’ ESPN has already released two episodes of the seven-episode documentary.
