This MLB season has been filled with excitement for baseball lovers. Multiple teams have succeeded in fulfilling fans’ expectations, but this is not true for the Oakland Athletics. Apart from their poor plays this season, the A’s are in the news for their major possible stadium shift as well. The situation improved with the Nevada governor okayed the bill providing $380 million to A’s. And the latest support from the Las Vegas stars added to the comfort. Even though the A’s successfully surpassed the wave of rejection and boycotts, it seems there is something still left for them to claim the win. According to reports, the A’s plan to build a 1.5 billion stadium has been under scrutiny. Fans who felt cheated by the stadium change could not hold their emotions to another shocking update. Reacting to it, they have added to their dejections.

Oakland Athletics Rushed Stadium Renders and the Subsequent Rejection

As the A’s needed support to finish the billion-dollar dream, it feels like they took the help of virtuality for it. Given the process of relocation would need a new stadium and a proper plan would be needed. But in the case of A’s, it aligned nothing with this thought.

Front Office Sports in their latest Tweet reflected this. It read,

“The Oakland A’s used a series of stadium renderings to help land $380 million in public funding last month toward a new Las Vegas ballpark. Now, the team says those images are literally trash.”

According to their report, the A’s have called those renderings trash. It means the project is unlikely to shape as they showed it in the Newspapers. It further quotes the words of Brad Schrock, A’s director of design, “We told the groups, You saw the renderings in the newspaper, but wad those up for now.”
