Shohei Ohtani is the superstar of the baseball world right now. With skills that seem literally out-of-this-world, his name does not need any introduction for baseball fans. Sho-time, only 28 years old, but already an icon. Japan loved him when he played for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Now America loves him with the Los Angeles Angels. Even if most think he’s severely underpaid, given his raw talent.

The World Baseball Classic blasted his popularity to a new high, as he led team Japan to a victory with an undefeated streak. He is now hailed among the most famous athletes in America and, for some, has even surpassed Michael Jordan. The two athletes have a lot more in common than one would think. So, it’s no surprise that even names from the wrestling world compare the two.
