Dodgers vs. Angels was a match to remember for Tyler Glasnow. Adding a few more victories to his name, he made history with his latest commendable performance on Tuesday. The Dodgers pitcher helped the team win 7-2, allowed just two runs, one earned, two hits, and even struck out 10 with zero walks for the third time in 2024. What’s more? The right-handed star pitcher retired the first nine batters of the Los Angeles Angels. Altogether, the 30-year-old ace Dodgers pitcher efficiently won the game.

As usual, Shohei Ohtani provided support to the Dodgers. Having smashed a 455-foot and a two-run shot on Friday, he went farther on Saturday. Amidst all the controversies of pulling out Glasnow, Dave Roberts explained his view in the post-game presser, saying, “The easy answer is no because you certainly want to look at the big picture while still appreciating the here and now. But I just think that there are certain people that really can affect potential postseason odds, and Tyler is one of them. So, just understanding, we are with the win-loss, but it really shouldn’t matter if you feel like your process and what you are ultimately trying to accomplish is the most important thing.”

Appreciating Glasnow’s contribution and tonight’s win, he further said, “So, tonight was an easy one for me because of what he’s done in years past and what we are going to be expecting from him this year. But we have put ourselves in a good position where I can feel even better about certain decisions”. Given Saturday’s match, it has put Glasnow into a dominant position. He’s exactly at the 100th inning of his career, and his stats are insane. Having a 2.88 ERA along with 25 walks allowed and 62 hits, the numbers demonstrate his clinical form for the Dodgers.
