Major League Baseball is rolling full steam ahead with the new rule changes and now people can count the newest Yankees captain among those that approve. Aaron Judge was welcomed by roaring crowds as he stepped up to bat, finally back in the Yankees uniform. Back in 2022, the future of the Yankees and Aaron Judge’s relationship may have been uncertain for a while there. But both parties knew they belonged together.
Back as number 99, the reigning AL MVP once again played for the Bronx in spring training, albeit a little differently than before. It might only be a Grapefruit League game but the Yankees star got a taste of what the upcoming season will look like amid rule changes. And while players and baseball fans have some mixed opinions, Aaron Judge rules in favor.

In an effort to make the games shorter, the higher-ups at Major League Baseball decided something needed to be done. And thus came into existence the pitch clock. It looks like their efforts paid off because according to Forbes’ Maury Brown, the games are now nearly thirty minutes shorter. And the Pinstriped captain approves.

He thinks the clock will be a good thing for everyone, even if it might take some time to adjust. “When they brought the shot clock into basketball all those years ago, they had to learn to adjust. You couldn’t just sit around and dribble and run motion for 5 minutes,” reported Bryan Hoch.
Aaron Judge said he thinks the new pitch clock "is going to be a good thing for everybody."

A few mistakes and pitch clock violations later, some teams have already gotten a taste of failure owing to these rules. If the Yankees and Judge suffer, and have a consequent opinion change, is something that only time will tell.
Do the people approve of Judge’s comments?
It’s only spring training just yet so players have time to adjust. But if one asks Cal Conley of the Braves and Manny Machado of the Padres, the pitch clock has already cost them dearly. And yet it’s undeniable that the games have become shorter, which is a plus point for a sport losing its audience.
Judge may be beloved on the field but for fans who have already seen the clock be a hamper, what do they think of his comments?
The Captain has spoken. Now everyone quit whining and get over it. No one will care anymore by mid-April.
