Judge smashed his way to mounting up 62 seasonal home runs this year. While doing so, he broke the previous record of the highest seasonal home run count in the American League. It was at a New York Yankees vs Texas Rangers game that Judge achieved his milestone. The two teams were facing off against each other at Globe Life Field.?
A fan by the name of Cory Youmans caught the 62nd home run ball flying off Judge’s bat. Youmans gained much popularity in the MLB circuit after catching the ball. At the time, the common query on everyone’s mind was whether Youmans will ever sell the prized memorabilia. Cory Youmans had initially cast doubts about handing the souvenir to Aaron Judge. Managing an investment firm, Youmans administers the role of the Vice President of Fisher Investments. Youmans and his wife Bri Amaranthus, who is a reporter at Sports Illustrated magazine, have decided to opt for auction. After rejecting a $3 million offer, Youmans has tied up with Goldin Auctions House to sell the ball.?
