New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter lived a great life while being the shortstop for one of the greatest baseball franchises for two decades. He achieved a lot in his career. He became fans’ favorite player and ultimately became a member in Cooperstown after winning five World Series in his two-decade career. During this time, although he dated quite a few women, he did not reach the point of getting married to any of them. 

But in his final years as a professional baseball player, he met a supermodel, Hannah Davis, at a mutual friend’s party and instantly hit it off. The duo started dating, and after three years of being together, in 2015, they got engaged. But by then, the former shortstop had already retired. That meant their life would be away from the prying eyes of the media, as Derek Jeter always wanted. But how would it fit the outgoing supermodel, Hannah Davis? 

What did Hannah say about the post-retirement life with Derek Jeter?

After retiring in 2014, Jeter began his journey to fulfill the one and only dream he saw and wanted to do after getting retired from MLB. He started building his family. He wanted to build a family. Fortunately for him, his then-girlfriend Hannah was already accustomed to the idea of Jeter’s post-retirement life.

“You have family and friends for a reason! You can’t leave that in the dust. And your partner should agree with that and want the same things for himself,” the supermodel said in an interview with GQ not long after getting engaged in 2015. 

Certainly, while playing for the Bronx Bombers, the first priority of Jeter was to win as a team. Therefore, he could not have given much time to his family. But that changed after he got retired. Although he had many things to keep him busy in his post-retirement life, he focused majorly on his family.

How does Jeter keep himself busy while retired?

Not long after getting off the diamond, the former athlete turned himself towards the business world. Aside from the Jeter publishing house, he launched a site called, ‘The Player’s Tribune,’ the athlete-friendly publishing site. He also not long ago launched Greatness Wins, an apparel wear for all athletes. But even then, his primary focus is on raising his kids to the best of his power.
