New York Yankees are testing the patience of their fans in the postseason. The Yankees v/s Guardians are the only Division Series to go through Game 5. Had it not been for a Gerrit Cole masterclass in Game 4, the Yankees might have lost the ALDS to the Guardians.

Notably, the Guardians played Game 4 with a 2-1 lead, and they were just a win away from clinching their ALCS spot. However, the Pinstripes ace Gerrit Cole had a different plan. Even though the Guardians lost Game 4, Guardians outfielder, Josh Naylor, trolled Cole in the ballpark.

MLB fans criticized Josh Naylor for his wild celebration against the New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole

As earlier mentioned, Gerrit Cole delivered a masterclass from the mound in Game 4. He pitched through seven innings and collected eight strikeouts in Game 4 to level the ALDS 2-2. When talking about the Guardians outfielder Josh Naylor, he trolled Cole after him off for a home run.

The irony is that when Naylor hit the home run, the Guardians were still losing to the Yankees. He ran around the bases and did Rock the Baby Celebration to troll Gerrit Cole.

Taking to Twitter, MLB fans criticized Naylor for the same. As expected several fans pointed out how can someone troll their opponent while they are in a losing position.

A few MLB fans called it classless, while others called it disrespectful. Not to forget that the Yankees and Guardians will play the decider on Monday. And considering the incident that occurred in Game 4, the Yankees will come all guns blazing in Game 5.
