New York Yankees fans are finally getting some good news. After watching Aaron Judge awkwardly slide into second base at a recent game, fans became concerned when the captain walked away in discomfort. In the next day’s game, he had to exit the game early because of hip pain. Bronx fans were already worried when the terrible cherry on top arrived in the form of IL news.

Judge was placed on the 10-day injured list while the Yankees gave fans disappointing updates. The team is already missing many of its talented players due to injuries. Giancarlo Stanton, Carlos Rodon, Luis Severino, and Josh Donaldson are already away from the field. But along with Judge, the front office finally announced some good news about the right-handed pitcher as well.

Next Tuesday night’s game against the Oakland Athletics is when manager Aaron Boone is hoping to activate All-Rise again. Dealing with hip strain, Judge has been doing everything to ensure a speedy recovery. Boone certainly thinks the outfielder is doing good. Before their latest game against the Tampa Bay Rays, he said, “I think he’s doing really well. I think we’re going to be in a good spot come Tuesday to where he’s done everything for several days.”

As for the pitcher, Severino will start with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday. He is expected to play at least three games for rehab before he can make it make to the big leagues. Given Clarke Schmidt and Jhony Brito’s recent struggles, Severino’s return is highly anticipated.

Some fans were worried that once gone, Judge wouldn’t come back until it was too late for the Bronx Bombers. But things are looking up!

New York Yankees fans are thrilled at Judge and Severino’s return

In fact, thrilled would be an understatement. For many Bronx fans, the Pinstripes’ performance has not quite been up to the mark this season. With their captain and star right-handed pitcher returning, the team could still turn things around for itself.

When Talkin’ Yanks announced the news on Twitter, many expressed relief, first and foremost.

One fan wanted Judge to return even earlier!

One was also rooting for Severino.

Most were happy to hear the good news.
