The Ballpark’s committee installed a plaque honoring Judge and his commendable skills that happened to take place in their ballpark. The plaque reads, “On October 4, 2022, in the second game of a doubleheader at Globe Life Field, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge connected for his 62nd home run of the season, establishing an American League record that had stood since 1961. Judge hit his milestone blast, which landed in this location, off the Rangers’ Jesus Tinoco to lead off the top of the first inning.”
