A year after the launch of “The Players’ Tribune,” Jeter revealed a secret about tennis great Andre Agassi in 2015. When talking about Jeter, the 5-time World Series champ does not reveal much about his personal life in the public domain.
What did Derek Jeter reveal about Andre Agassi?
During the time when Derek Jeter had already created the platform, people thought that now he would talk more about everything in his life. But that was not the case. He did not reveal how many shares he had held on the platform. But he did share the book he read and loved while creating the platform.
Per the New York Post, Jeter loved reading “Open,” an autobiography of tennis legend Andre Agassi.
The former Yankee also denied the fact that many people believed he created the Players’ Tribune for himself. Notably, Jeter created this platform for every athlete to share their honest thoughts. “But this was not built for me. It was built for the athletes,” said Jeter in 2015.

Why did Jeter come on social media after all these years?
Had it not been for his several projects that required his presence in the virtual world, the former Yankee might not have come to social media. Jeter’s social media presence also helps his fans to have a close eye on their favorite star.
Notably, a player as big as Jeter was a big miss on social media, especially for his fans and the Yankees fans.
