Derek Jeter and Hannah Jeter have been together for over ten years now. Having played for over 20 years of baseball, Derek Jeter is a true legend of the game. Known for his calmness and down-to-earth nature in the ballparks, Jeter was a fantastic leader of the game.

Back in his playing days, Jeter met through a mutual friend for the first time. And they started dating for over four years. When Jeter realized she was the girl with whom he can settle his life, the Yankees legend married the Sports Illustrated supermodel in 2016.

Derek Jeter is a man in whose veins the blood of baseball. The guy literally breathes baseball. And now imagine someone like Jeter dating a girl who never watched a baseball game. Yes! Hannah Jeter (now his wife) had never watched a baseball game until she met the former Yankees captain.

There have been many great players in MLB, even better than Derek Jeter. But when it comes down to leadership, the game of baseball has never seen a leader as good as him.

When the Yankees betted on a young Jeter by naming him their captain, Jeter returned the favor by winning multiple World Series titles for his team.

But it is a pity that his wife, Hannah, never saw the peak of Jeter. Notably, after winning the 2009 World Series, the Yankees are yet to win the prestigious title. Going back to 2016, when Jeter and Hannah were a newly married couple, Hannah publicly accepted that she never watched baseball until she met Jeter.

Per an old video roaming on YouTube, when reporters asked Hannah if she was a Yankees fan before meeting Jeter, she denied it. However, she confirmed that now the Yankees are her favorite MLB team.

Debuted in the 1995 season, Jeter played his last game in 2014. He retired as one of the greatest players in baseball. Considering his legacy, later in 2020, MLB honored him with the Hall of Fame induction. He will forever remain an icon for the Yankees.
