Major League Baseball’s regular season is about to end, and energy for the postseason is increasing with every passing moment. With it, the race for AL MVP is also about to end pretty soon. However, the debate over this year’s AL MVP is still going on for the top two candidates. Those two candidates are Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani and New York Yankees star player Aaron Judge.

Very recently, both the top contenders achieved different rare feats for which they are getting appreciated. But that did not stop their fans from bashing each other over this season’s MVP.
What did Shohei Ohtani achieve that might have given him the boost in the MVP race?
Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani has pitched in one hundred and sixty-two innings. With it, ‘Shotime’ became the first player in the history of Major League Baseball to qualify for the league leaderboards as a pitcher and a hitter both in the same year. Whereas, Judge became the new title holder of AL’s most home runs in a season by surpassing the legendary Roger Maris’ 61 homers.

Meanwhile, Ohtani himself once spoke about this ongoing MVP race. Although the man is enjoying Judge breaking records, he is pretty confident in himself. Shotime feels he is much better this season than last, in which he became the AL’s Most Valuable Player.
Till the moment this season’s American League MVP is announced, it does not look like the fans’ conflict is going to stop. Almost every baseball fan, at this point, has chosen sides in Judge v/s Ohtani’s MVP race. Therefore, whenever something new comes up, it is for the rest of the world to enjoy.
What are the chances of Ohtani becoming the MVP after the new achievement?
He’s not winning MVP because of his team?
Still not winning the MVP because your team is a disappointment every season.

Additionally, is this animal on the MVP list?
Honestly, that’s awesome. But there’s an animal in NY who hit 62 HR’S and his team is going to the post season while Ohtani sits on his couch.

But does anybody know the difference?
