Well, that is exactly what Jonny Gomes did from the Green Monster. When the Red Sox star Trevor Story smacked a grand slam, the ball directly landed in the hands of the Red Sox legend.

After this, baseball fans went berserk on the internet and showered praise on Jonny Gomes for his heroics from the stand.

Taking to Twitter, one fan expressed his love for Gomes. He said he does not like the Red Sox, but Gomes is the best. Another fan claimed Jonny Gomes to be the first-ever player to hit over the Green Monster and catch a home run from the Green Monster.
