“Stay Blessed Kings”: New York Yankees Duo Melt Fans With an Adorable Double Date Along With Their Significant Others

New York City’s beloved team, the New York Yankees, secured pitcher Nestor Cortes Jr. and second baseman Gleyber Torres in the past few months to a one-year contract to avoid the players from becoming free agents. With the paperwork in the bag, these phenomenal players can now breathe a sigh of relief, knowing they’ll be taking to the ballpark once again for the team. Cortes sealed the deal with a $3.2 million contract, while Torres inked for a $9.95 million signing. With all these All-Stars locked and loaded, opening day is just around the corner and the excitement among fans is at an all-time high. 

But before they start showcasing their excellence on the field, the duo took a break from their busy schedules to hit the town on a double date with their partners. Sporting massive grins and unwinding in style, the two had a little rest and recreation before the game begins.

Nestor Cortes and Gleyber Torres might be phenomenal players, but they have a spot soft for the love of their lives. Nestor’s proposal to his beautiful girlfriend, Alondra Esteras Russy, was straight out of a book. He whisked her away right after an MLB All-Star weekend and got down on one knee, asking her to be his forever. Alondra said yes, and the couple is now engaged, ready to embark on a journey for their happily ever after. 

Meanwhile, Gleyber has been happily married to his wife, Elizabeth Torres, since 2017. The athlete can’t help but gush about his beloved, referring to her as “El Amor de mi Vida” or “Love of My Life.”
