Giving back to society is probably the best thing one can do after becoming a successful personality. And it’s especially humbling to see celebrities and stars do it. Mike Rodriguez, a broadcaster for the Major Baseball League, recently shared a video of the Guardian slugger Jose Ramirez doing the same.

Per Rodriguez, Ramirez was there delivering toys to the children in his neighborhood. Notably, he is a native of the Dominican Republic, and it was there that he did this deed of charity. The third baseman can be heard talking into a microphone, as he stands on a stage surrounded by people. Most notably, however, Ramirez can be seen wearing an Indians jersey.

Fans are absolutely delighted with Ramirez’s outfit choice

Where is Jose Ramirez now?

The third baseman is still with Cleveland, as can be seen by reports of his extended contract in 2022. He agreed to a five-year extension of his contract, ensuring he was on the same team for the rest of his career. According to ESPN, Ramirez’s contract includes a no-trade clause, and the deal was sealed at $124 million. Counting on the 2023 season, Ramirez is guaranteed at least $150 million.

Ramirez has been an asset to his team ever since he joined the MLB in 2013. With three All-Star titles under his belt from 2017, 2018, and 2021, he has also won the Silver Slugger award in 2017, 2018, and 2020. No doubt, then, about why other teams were also eager to trade the third baseman.
