The University of Texas loses in the Super Regionals as a fly ball goes wrong

The NCAA Baseball Tournament is currently going on, with several big-time clashes in the Super Regionals. Most recently, the University of Texas was eliminated by Stanford as the latter progressed to the College World Series. Texas lost the game in the most devastating fashion in the bottom of the 9th inning. Stanford’s Drew Bowse popped up a high fly ball, which got lost in the lights. This prevented Texas outfielders from making the catch, resulting in a walk-off hit. Jomboy Media shared a video of the incident on Twitter as Stanford celebrated and Texas players experienced a tough loss.

But alas, their luck did not last as they lost the next two games and were knocked out of the Tournament. What started as a dream run ended in heartbreak for the Oregon Ducks.
