The Texas Rangers just secured their first win in the World Series Game 1 in stunning fashion. Corey Seager was the star in the last inning, forcing an extra inning by tying the score. Then came in the star, Adolis Garc?a, with his clutch home run in the 11th. Bagging a 6-5 victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks, there was a strong tussle between the Wild Card teams. But just like Texas fans, players are in awe of each other.

Garc?a?was the postseason?s breakout star, and he continues to deliver spectacular performances. Facing reliever Miguel Castro, the slugger’s walk-off homerun was his 22 RBI for the American League Championship Series. Not only that but the hit entered the postseason records to become the second-longest streak. Even the team’s shortstop is in awe.

Sportsmanship was at its finest after the Fall Classic opener. Texas owes its first win to both Corey Seager and Adolis Garc?a. In the bottom of the ninth, the shortstop’s tying shot with a two-run homer sent the team to extra innings. Seager’s epic moonshot was the turning point for Rangers against the D-Backs. Despite his game-changer performance, the shortstop was more in awe of his teammate.

In a post-game interview, Seager was all praises for the outfielder. “Special players step up in moments like this and [Garc?a has] done it all season for us. It’s been extremely fun to watch and extremely fun to be a part of.”

Texas is witness to the explosive combination of Seager and Garc?a’s power-packed performance. While Garc?a’s baseball prospects were seeing a downfall back in 2021, he has proven his potential since then. Undoubtedly, he had a great rookie season, and ‘El Bombi’ has become our unparalleled postseason RBI king.

Setting new records in Rangers history, it was Garc?a’s second walk-off postseason homer. The only other walk-off was back in the 2011 ALCS,? with? Nelson Cruz?s grand slam.

With 22 RBIs, Adolis Garc?a?has set the highest record for most RBIs in one postseason. The ALCS MVP remarked, “It was an exciting moment. I was just looking to the dugout, looking at all my (happy) teammates,” when talking to FOX Sports.

Even though Seager is quite stoic, this postseason he has not stopped short of displaying his emphatic emotion. Whether it was his tying shot or praises for Garc?a, his energy, and enthusiasm is very contagious. And, Rangers’ fans eagerly await more iconic performances from the duo as they possibly lead the Lone Star State to its first World Series trophy.
