Then came in the star, Adolis Garc?a, with his clutch home run in the 11th. Bagging a 6-5 victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks, there was a strong tussle between the Wild Card teams. Garc?a?was the postseason?s breakout star, and he continues to deliver spectacular performances. Facing reliever Miguel Castro, the slugger’s walk-off homerun was his 22 RBI for the American League Championship Series. Not only that but the hit entered the postseason records to become the second-longest streak. Even the team’s shortstop is in awe.

While Garc?a’s baseball prospects were seeing a downfall back in 2021, he has proven his potential since then. With 22 RBIs, Adolis Garc?a?has set the highest record for most RBIs in one postseason. The ALCS MVP remarked, “It was an exciting moment. I was just looking to the dugout, looking at all my (happy) teammates,” when talking to FOX Sports.
