Aaron Judge didn’t leave the 2022 season with 63 home runs alone. The star outfielder left the season as the greatest outfielder to enter the free market in modern-day baseball, and a guaranteed contract worth above $300 million from his long list of suitors. And exactly that happened, as Judge signed a $360 million, nine-year deal with the New York Yankees, which he made sure to display on the day he formally signed the deal with the MLB heavyweights.

Not only that, but the massive $200,000 purchase he made after signing the annual $40 million deal royally went past Argentinian World Cup-winning midfielder, Angel Di Maria‘s purchase, which he wore after arriving in Argentina with the World Cup.

After speculations of 2022, American League MVP’s wealthy contract reached its truthful fruition, the 62-homer outfielder made an enormous purchase of a Rolex watch, dubbed as the “Eye of the Tiger” for a whopping $230,000. With a bezel surrounded by 36 diamonds and a dial boding 243 diamonds; the watch outperformed three of Conor McGregor’s most precious watches.

Upon arriving in Argentina, their celebrated midfielder sported a stunning black-and-white Panda-dial Daytona Rolex watch, which GQ sports lauded as “one of the Crown’s most coveted watches.”

According to Bleacher Report, FIFA awarded the 2022 World Cup-winning country (Argentina) with $40 million.

For context, Aaron Judge’s annual payroll is $40 million, which will continue for the next nine MLB seasons. The pay disparity is massive, to say the least. But that also explains why GQ Sports rated Judge’s watch higher than di Maria’s.
