After facing a defeat in Game 2, the Philadelphia Phillies came all guns blazing in Game 3 and took a 2-1 lead over the Houston Astros after a huge 7-0 win at Citizen Park. Apart from an epic game at Citizen Park, the reunion of ex-Yankees Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter has become a talking point.

Notably, A-Rod and Jeter are two of the biggest MLB stars of their time. And given the difficulties in their relationship despite playing for the same team, their reunion always creates new hype. And the reunion got even better when their arch-rival also joined them.

Even though Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, and David Ortiz are not playing the game anymore, the former MLB sluggers reunited on Tuesday during the World Series Game 3 between the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies.

Per a video going viral on the internet, one can see how A-Rod and Jeter greeted each other while David Ortiz, is having a smile on his face.

Taking to Twitter, Jared Carrabis of Draft Kings shared the video and captioned, “World peace is possible.”

A few MLB fans also reacted to this rare moment. One fan even said that A-Rod hugging Jeter was a fake thing. Another fan went back to the 2004 season; and said that Papi should just say “2004” every time A-Rod and Jeter are around.

Notably, the Boston Red Sox won the memorable ALCS against the Yankees after losing the first three games. Several other fans also took a dig at A-Rod’s hug to Jeter.

What went wrong between A-Rod and Jeter?

Back in the 2001 season, A-Rod and Jeter were close friends. Even though they played for different teams, A-Rod and Derek Jeter shared a unique bond between them.
