The Blue Jays’ performance was not as expected from the beginning of the season. But Wednesday’s Wild Card game was the worst for the Blue Jays, and the Ranges won it 10-0. Jonah Heim’s Grand Slam and Evan Carter’s solo shot have taken the game out of Toronto’s control. Though Cavan Biggio hit a solo homer in the ninth inning for the Blue Jays, it didn’t work out. He even showed his skills in defense. However, their manager John Schneider, cheered them up, saying, “It’s a big series, yeah, sure, but we’re playing really well…Today is one game. It doesn’t matter if you lose by six or if you lose by one.”
The Blue Jays’ last game had one of the lowest attendances of the season, despite there being no campaigns or protests to avoid it. A fan posted a Twitter post asking about the reason behind it, which finally divided fans into different opinions. Their fan count was 23,451 on Monday. Although it improved a little bit on Wednesday’s game, it was still 25,495. Their series with the Rangers was a hyped series, but finally, fans didn’t show their support for their home team.
Fans expressed mixed opinions on not visiting the stadium
Though winning and losing are two parts of every game, fans can’t accept this fact when it is their favorite team. However, Toronto Blue Jays fans are now almost certain about their team not qualifying for the playoffs. So, they expressed their frustration on social media when got the picture of the empty stadium. Some claimed that it is painful to watch them-
People have given up. Watching this team is painful.

Some blamed the coach for the situation of the team and expressed they shouldn’t waste their money for these games.
This team is boring & has no personality, no attitude. The Front Office took 2 players who were adored by the fan base & moved them for Varsho & Swanson. When your identity is “run prevention”, no one is going to get excited to watch you play.

Fans even reacted that they will prefer watching them losing from home.
I can watch them lose from home Mike

Disheartened fans even compared the team with Titanic.
@Wilnerness , you must be one of the few to think the @BlueJays are still marking a playoff push, the rest of us feel like we are watching the titanic.
