Fernando Tatis Jr. is facing a heavy backlash from baseball fans. Major League Baseball found him guilty of using PEDs (performance-enhancing drugs) earlier this week. Notably, the San Diego Padres’ star shortstop was a fan favorite just a couple of weeks ago.
Although Tatis did not play a single game this season because of the wrist injury, the Padres had high hopes from their marquee player for the rest of the season. And now, when MLB has banned Tatis for 80 official games, the Padres players and fans are also criticizing the 23-year-old shortstop.

The Padres fans bash Fernando Tatis Jr. over PED suspension
The San Diego Padres have played the 2022 season without the star performer,?Fernando Tatis Jr. Despite that, they have done a remarkable job so far. That said, the Padres also have Juan Soto by their side. Considering Soto is also a brilliant talent, the Padres fans may have found a new hero for their team.
Earlier on Sunday, a fan shared a photograph from a jersey store that said Tatis? jerseys are available at a 25% discount. But the irony is that no one is willing to buy the jersey at even 25% of a discount.

Notably, despite being fully fit, Tatis will not be able to play a single game this season. And even if the Padres make it to the World Series this season, they will not be able to plate 80 games. Hence, Tatis will miss a huge part of the next season too.
