It felt like the world turned upside down on 11th June. Shohei Ohtani – the esteemed part of Los Angeles might be already preparing to sell his dream paradise. The two-way phenom had bought a luxurious $7.85 million mansion a few months after moving to the Los Angeles Dodgers. But then extensive media reports turned that dream into a nightmare. The primary reason was his wife Mamiko Tanaka’s safety – who was incidentally caught having a great time with fellow Dodgers WAGs yesterday.

Since the day their marriage was revealed, Mamiko Tanaka has always been a huge favorite among Shohei Ohtani’s fans. This was evident when Tanaka attended multiple Dodgers games and was greeted with loud cheers from the fanbase. However, her sightings have recently reduced, and as a result, fans are always on the lookout for her. Now Freddie Freeman’s wife Chelsea Freeman has just made that wish come true.

Chelsea Freeman’s Instagram account has given the fans a short glimpse at the growing bond between the Los Angeles Dodgers ladies. Freeman hosted a dinner at Nobu, Malibu Beach for all the fellow WAGs. She gifted a Dolce Gabbana espresso maker and a Don Julio 1942 bottle to the ladies. And it was there that Mamiko Tanaka was spotted.

Wearing a black top with white pants, Tanaka looked as beautiful as ever. The ladies enjoyed a lovely dinner and watched the glorious Malibu Beach sunset. However, while it was a great time for the WAGs, it also served as a small reminder that Ohtani hasn’t moved into his mansion yet. With reports of its possible sale, it becomes clear why he hasn’t done so.

Apart from the fact that the media had jeopardized Mamiko and Shohei Ohtani’s privacy, there was also a fear of increasing burglary crimes in LA. This has allegedly led to Shotime making a strict demand from the real estate company.

Shohei Ohtani urges for “responsibility” amidst house sale reports

Shohei Ohtani’s need for privacy isn’t an unknown quality of his. The star has continuously tried to maintain a private life despite his huge fame. However, his marriage to Mamiko Tanaka might have made it even more important for him to “protect his family” per News Post Seven. As a result, he was furious after Fuji TV and Nippon TV conducted extensive coverage of his mansion and revealed tiny details about it.

However, the final straw was when Fuji TV’s reporter went around the neighborhood to talk about Ohtani moving in. The reporter then peeked through the gaps in dense trees to take pictures of the mansion’s basketball court. He then wondered if “Ohtani will enjoy playing basketball with Mamiko!”

Shohei Ohtani saw this as a gross crossing of boundaries. And now as a result of these reports, the two-way phenom has allegedly told his real estate company to “look for a buyer responsibly.” So it seems the Ohtani couple might have to go house hunting again. Hopefully this time their dream will not turn into a nightmare.
