“There are still many things I want to achieve. This year was a good year for me because I achieved one of my goals – the WBC. On the other hand, there are things that I could have done a little better.” Ohtani then shared his fighting spirit, “I have come this far through the accumulation of effort, and I would like to continue to rise to the challenge until the last day of my life.”

In an interesting discussion, Tomita asked what made him happier winning the WBC or the MVP award. Ohtani was visibly confused but said everything made him happy while revealing how it was a dream to win the WBC since his childhood. What other dreams does Ohtani have? Well! He had famously created a list of objectives during his school days. That could give an idea about what he wants to achieve.
