The New York Yankees just clinched their third straight win. Their first game of the West Coast trip against the Seattle Mariners saw some amazing displays by Willie Calhoun, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, and Jake Bauers. But one player that stole the spotlight was team captain Aaron Judge.

The reigning AL MVP, Judge is already a contender for the title a second time. With yet more home runs in the game vs Mariners, All-Rise has had a month full of massive achievements. Despite his injured list stint, Judge is playing like he never left. And while his long balls helped the Yankees win, a major move by the outfielder is all anyone can talk about.

After smashing two homers earlier in the game, Judge had been having a good day. Then in the eighth inning, he decided to make it better. Seattle’s Teoscar Hernandez belted out a long ball that looked like it would be a home run. But then Judge arrived on the scene, jumping high and grabbing the ball out of the air.

Bronx fans roared at the steal, and to them, Hernandez’s expression later was priceless. Mariners fans present at T-Mobile Park went home disappointed as the Yankees scored a 10-4 victory.

It was overall an entertaining game that saw the return of Domingo German from his 10-game suspension. Kiner-Falefa started at shortstop while Bauers, an ex-Mariner, went 3-for-4 with a home run. The Yankees also managed to get to Bryce Miller, Seattle’s rookie right-hander, who has given a stellar performance in the season so far.

Needless to say, fans of the pinstripes were elated.

New York Yankees fans can’t fathom the power of Judge

A lot of Yankee hitters had a big night, including the Yankees captain. However, while his display at the plate left fans happy, his performance in the outfield left everyone truly awestruck.

Some compared him to another MLB juggernaut, Shohei Ohtani. Given their different statures, of course, the two players have different roles on their teams. But for the Bronx faithful, their captain is above the rest.

Many called him the best baseball in not just New York but the world. One even wanted him to be awarded the MVP again.
