The New York Yankees is one of the most successful and famous franchises. But this season has not been on the side of the team. What started the season with a bang will be ending the season in a different way.
Before the midsummer classic, the Pinstripes have set a new record of victories for their club with 64 wins. According to the stats of the first half, the team was on its way to having 120 wins. But that seems impossible, as they don’t even have 80 wins, and the end of this season is not very far.

It’s now September, and by looking at the statistics before and after August, there is a major difference in the team’s offense. And it does not look good for the team.
Where do New York Yankees lie in September?
Despite their recent ongoing slump, the Yankees are on top of the AL East. However, comparing the statistics after only three days of August, a huge and shocking difference can be seen.

Before August, the Pinstripes were at the top of the main list for having the most runs, and it has now dropped to 25th position.
For the on base% and slugging, the Yankees used to be at the second and first position, respectively. But now, they are on the 25th and 26th.
The Yankees now have 206 home runs, out of which 52 homers are only by the slugger Aaron Judge.
Fans desperately want their team to win but are downhearted to see their favorite team going down like this.
How are the fans reacting to the Yankees’ slump?
One fan has pointed out another major statistic that says the Yankees are the first team who got 70 wins. Whereas Baltimore Orioles, managed to get their 70 wins before the Yankees managed to reach 80.

User Donny, felt that one can blame management for only so much, but they are not the ones batting on the field.
Yeah, but the O's are proving to be a good team, whereas the Yanks are playing below average this half. We can blame management, but management isn't batting .220 as a clean-up hitter. They need the stars to play like stars.

According to Mike, the team’s slump is because of Gallo’s trade.
The curse of Joey Gallo. Apparently he really held the team together.

While Yankees fans are sad over the slump, other fans are mocking the team for playing badly.
Really hard to watch

One blamed Isiah for the slump.

The Yankees will be watching the playoffs on October 7th like the rest of us, on television.

A user questioned whether Judge took some performance enhancing substance for the unbelievable performances he has been giving so far.
Exactly… they’re cheaters just like the rest of the league… but they want to believe they play honest 😂.. judge is probably 💉💉💉💉
