“She Puts Him Through Some Pain” – Derek Jeter Often Felt a Lot of Agony From a Woman He Kept Flying in When Needed

Derek Jeter is one of the greatest baseball players of all time. Most athletes embraced that popularity, welcoming media coverage of their personal lives. But not Jeter. The Yankee’s star shortstop kept his personal life under lock and key. Furthermore, he became an expert at evading questions about any aspect of private life. One such moment is a picture of Derek Jeter feeling pain at the hands of a woman he regularly met.

Derek Jeter felt considerable pain when receiving massages from his personal masseuse

Less than a week before Derek Jeter played his last game, New York Magazine published an article on Jeter’s career. In it, they shared an image, captured by Chris Anderson, of Derek Jeter receiving a massage from his personal masseuse. Jeter looked to be in some pain as his masseuse, Nicole, treated him.

New York Magazine shared the image in an article and captioned it, saying “In his bedroom in Tampa with his longtime masseuse Nicole, whom Jeter flies in for his massages. ‘She puts him through some pain,’ says photographer Christopher Anderson, who captured the intimate moments with Jeter included here.” Jeter would fly Nicole in regularly for his massage sessions.

This image is a glimpse into Jeter’s personal life, which at that time was very rare. In 2014, Jeter was still extremely private about his life outside of baseball. But that has changed since retirement and the former Yankee star is more open about his personal life today.
