2023 has been a great season for the Texas Rangers thus far. They have managed to climb to the top of the AL West behind a well-balanced team and great coaching. Most recently, one of their coaching staff expressed gratitude as they passed a milestone date after surviving a deadly disease.

It is tough to beat illness, no matter how severe. It is a feat that takes considerable willpower and spirit. But the Rangers coach, who beat a deadly disease back in the 2010s, is now expressing his gratitude as he reaches a milestone.

Texas Rangers coach Tony Beasley expresses thanks as he celebrates 7 years of being cancer free

Battling cancer is not an easy task, with a hard road to recovery. But Rangers 3rd base coach Tony Beasley beat the disease and is cancer free. Most recently, he celebrated 7 years of being cancer free with a Twitter post. Beasley expressed gratitude at being toward God, as he celebrated the massive milestone. He praised God for healing his body and was grateful for his good health in general. This came after the Rangers got a convincing win over the Colorado Rockies.

In the Tweet, he said “Today marks 7 years cancer free! I am so blessed and grateful for all God has done in my life! He deserves all the honor and all the glory for healing my body! Trust in God and never doubt and he’ll do unbelievable things in your life! Stay blessed!!! #cancersurvivor”

This was truly a gracious message from the Rangers’ coach as he celebrates a massive personal milestone. Notably, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal cancer in 2016 and fought hard to beat it. But he is not the only person with positive cancer news recently. 

Chicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks beat cancer

In January, Liam Hendriks was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. The Chicago White Sox pitcher fought hard to battle cancer and overcame the deadly disease. Hendriks made a miraculous recovery and is now working on getting back to the MLB. During his return to the mound, Hendriks got emotional after a touching gesture from his teammates and opponents. He has received immense support from his loved ones, fans, and colleagues throughout the recovery process.
