Over the last few years, Shohei Ohtani has established himself firmly amongst the top elite players in baseball. Some experts call him the best, citing his dominance on both ends of the ballparks. Ohtani’s skill and talent were on full display at the World Baseball Classic as he led Japan to their 3rd WBC championship.
In the Finals, he bested Los Angeles Angels teammate Mike Trout to win. But the Japanese star’s influence extends beyond the field as he makes waves with his popularity and sponsorship deals. Most recently, a new set of numbers popped up, showing Ohtani’s dominance beyond the diamond. So much dominance that no MLB player is even close to him, even the New York Yankees captain, Aaron Judge.
