He signed a long-term contract with the Seattle-based team and has other partnerships as well. Most recently, he joined hands with Alaska Airlines to get fans to incentivize attending Mariners home games. For every home run that Rodriguez hits at T-Mobile Park, 44 fans in the section the ball lands in will win a free round-trip of their choice. Front Office Sports shared details about the deal on Twitter.

In a Tweet, they said, “Mariners star Julio Rodriguez is now sponsored by an entire airline — Alaska Airlines. For every home run he hits in Seattle, 44 fans in the section it lands in will win a free round-trip flight of their choice.” It is an amazing offer for fans attending games. For those unversed, 44 is also Rodriguez’s jersey number, hence it was chosen for the deal.

It will be interesting to see how many home runs Rodriguez hits at home going forward this season.
