Julio Rodriguez’s homecoming saw several activities – distributing toys and baseball equipment to around 1000 young kids in the Dominican Republic. As a part of his No Limits Foundation, all these efforts were made possible with corporate sponsorship. Listen to an overwhelmed Rodriguez expressing, To the kids, it means so much, I believe, because I know what it’s like to not have all the equipment and things that we’ve brought here.” This was J-Rod recognizing how many kids might not own any baseball or softball equipment, which could possibly hinder their dreams.

Julio Rodriguez understood what it was like to be without these pieces of equipment. Being a part of some of these kids’ dreams, maybe, Rodriguez does not hesitate to share his pleasure. While hoping for the children to put the gear to great use, he did something even more touching. Julio Rodriguez opened basketball and softball clinics and inaugurated the new Culture Centre in Loma de Cabrera. It makes him happy, and of course, the world, warm.
