This win continues the team’s elite form as they extend their winning streak to 8 games. It also solidifies their position in the NL West as they look to climb the table. It will be interesting to see how long this form continues and where the team ends up.
Will the Giants go above and beyond their previous records?
Following a historic 107-win 2021 campaign, the Giants fell short of expectations in 2022 with 81 wins. But this year, they are seemingly defying expectations in the right way. They currently sit in second place in the NL West, with a playoff berth looking more and more likely. Their recent series victory over the Dodgers was massive, with a dominant victory highlighting it. The team is in a promising position with 40 wins and over half the season left. But only time will tell if they make the postseason and make up to the fans expectations.
