But one of the best parts of this news was the moment he came to know – when he realized his dreams were moving in the right direction.

The Brewers’ official page shared his video of discovering the big news. In the clip, a group of players can be seen sitting around the table as the Brewers’ Triple-A manager, Rick Sweet, asks them if they’re okay to play.

“Hey, I’m just double checking with you guys, you okay to play tomorrow? That’s what I thought. I already told you,” he goes around asking. “”You’re okay? You’re okay? You already had a day off. You okay to play?” Then he points to someone else, “You’re playing tomorrow, I’m telling you right now, 5 hits?” Then he got to the main part of the scene.

“Sal, you sure you’re okay playing tomorrow? You sure? Well, you ain’t playing here, you’re going to the big leagues.”

And everyone around him erupted in cheers and applause. Frelick, who was shirtless and having some food, just smiled as if he can’t believe it.

In an electric debut, the youngster went 3-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Frelick is the first player in franchise history with these stats in a debut. Is it any wonder fans were rooting for him?
