Recently, during the game between Colorado Avalanche and the Philadelphia Phillies, Ryan Feltner of the Rockies got hit during the return to his pitch. It was a situation no one want anyone to be in. Injuries like these can be fatal and put a dent in the game. The positive part of the incident was that Feltner left the field on his own and didn’t lose consciousness. According to the Associated Press, the player is undergoing multiple tests to ascertain the nature of the injury. The press quotes Colorado manager Bud Black saying. ” He’s under observation at a local hospital. He’s undergoing a litany of exams and tests. We’ll know more in the morning.”
