Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez once received a marriage tip from Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez got engaged in March 2019, stealing the headlines with their life update. A few months later, in September of that year, JLo appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. During this appearance, she revealed some top marriage advice that Supreme Court lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg gave her and A-Rod. Ginsberg was a law icon but also had a 56-year-long marriage, giving her a lot of experience in the field.

While on the Tonight Show, JLo shared the law icon’s advice, saying, “She was like, ‘I’ll tell you what my mother-in-law told me on my wedding day’. Which was, ‘It’s good to be a little deaf sometimes’.”

These were pearls of wisdom that the law expert shared with the pop icon. Lopez had a lot of respect for Ginsburg’s career success and her family life as well.
