The 2023 World Baseball Classic has come to an end with Japan taking home the trophy. But the tournament delighted baseball fans with many shocks, twists, and some strange results. Venezuela was one of the biggest surprise packages, winning all of their games in the qualifying round. They advanced to the Quarterfinals where they lost to Team USA. And now that the WBC fever is also over, the Venezuelan superstar Ronald Acuna Jr., who plays for the Atlanta Braves, seems ready for the 2023 regular season.

Although many expected him to star for Venezuela, Acuna Jr. was quiet with the bat. He went 4-18 at the plate over 5 games, looking out of sorts. But the outfielder recently gave a positive update with regard to the 2023 MLB season.
