To bring the reigning champions back from the dead, the 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé scored two goals in the space of 97 seconds. Unfortunately, his heroic efforts went into vain as Argentina won the game in the end.

One interesting thing that turned heads during the match was the rare photo of Mbappé donning a baseball jersey. Soon after Mbappe’s heroics on the field, baseball fans started cheering for him. However, soon as the match turned against his team, the comments on the rare picture also took a turn for the bad.

For those unversed, French forward had come to the Dodger Stadium three years ago, in June 2019. There he not only threw out the ceremonial pitch but also hung out with many players. In short, it can be said that the soccer star player indeed had a great time visiting the Dodgers ballpark.

Notably, the fans loved it at first. But as the match took a turn, it triggered fans’ disappointment.
