Seems like fans are having the time of their lives with the New York Yankees right now. With multiple players of the Yanks being on the injured list, including the captain Aaron Judge himself, one man snuck past an injury today. One of the oldest yet most resilient broadcasters of the New York Yankees, John Sterling, during Saturday night’s game, got stuck by a foul ball straight on his face. Not only was he stuck, but he also got a bit bloodied right beside his left eyebrow. However, the commentator did not take any break and resumed his duties within seconds.

Although it was said that the broadcaster would be taking a break but would be present for Monday’s game. But he was back Sunday only. Also, before Sunday’s game, Sterling took a chance and mocked Aaron Judge about his injury.?

New York Yankees captain and reigning AL MVP, Aaron Judge is on the injured list for the second time this season. After getting his toe sprained, Judge got on the IL for ten days and is supposed to be back on June 18.?

Meanwhile, Sterling at eighty-four not only got hit in the face but also resumed his duties. Notably, the renowned broadcaster of the Yankees was strong enough that he did not need to go on the injured list. But that did not stop him from mocking the captain. Before Sunday’s game of the Yanks against the Boston Red Sox, Sterling met up with All Rise and said,?“I’m not going on the IL.”?

It must have taken Sterling a great deal of audacity to stand up to the injured captain and mock him straight to his face. But as Judge is known for his calm composure, he would have replied with a smile on his face.?

Ever since the news got out that Sterling got hit in his face, and resumed his duties by simply saying,?“Ow! Ow! Ow! I didn’t think it would come up here,”?baseball fans have been going gaga over him. By taking this chance at Judge, he has once again impressed the fans.?
