Earlier in the series, Judge was accused of cheating, as he constantly glanced into his dugout while batting. The reason that a controversy arose is that the Yankees’ captain smashed a home run shortly after looking into his dugout. This led to accusations of sign-stealing and cheating. But the incident has since been resolved.

Judge offered an explanation to clear up the controversy

Aaron Judge cleared up the controversy, saying that he was looking into his dugout to see who was causing a commotion. The Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone had just been ejected, and one of Judge’s teammates was arguing. Furthermore, a Blue Jays pitcher admitted his mistake in the incident. This cleared the Bronx Bombers’ captain of any wrongdoing and allowed the series to continue without further hiccups.
