All up for the All Rise. The ascending star player of the New York Yankees has done it once again. All-Star player Aaron Judge hit his 55th homer of this season tonight against the Minnesota Twins.
All Rise made his debut in Major League Baseball in 2016 and hit 52 homers the very next year. Which then led him to win the Rookie of the Year award in 2017.

Surpassing records every now and then, Judge has recently outdone a former Yankee as well. He broke the three-times American League’s Most Valuable Player and fourteen times All-Star player Alex Rodriguez’s Yankees record.
How did Aaron Judge break A-Rod’s record?
Former Yankee Rodriguez had a record of hitting 54 homers by a right-handed batsman in a season. Now, after hitting his 55th home run of this season, Judge has broken A-Rod’s record.
Previously, when Judge hit the 54th homer against the Minnesota Twins, A-Rod, too, congratulated him for tying his record.
Congrats to @TheJudge44 on tying my @Yankees record for homers by a right-handed batter in a single season. Keep going my man! https://t.co/Hge6oE3rXY

Now, after breaking his record, he once again has congratulated the 30-year-old for playing this great.
55! Congrats @TheJudge44! Keep going, break the record https://t.co/yYY49x8UyL

Before the season started, Judge predicted that he will be hitting 50 homers once again this year. That prediction got fulfilled five home runs ago, and he is on the pace to hit 64 this season. He is still quite far from breaking Barry Bonds’ record of 73 homers in a season, but that does not mean he will be ending this season without breaking other players’ records.
Considering the season that Judge is having this year, he is one of the top contenders on the list of potential MVPs.
