Aaron Boone is back after his one-game suspension. He has been an unpopular figure in New York for quite a while now. After being ejected multiple times in the last few games, the Yankees manager has come under fan fire. But at the recent New York Yankees game, he was back in the dugout. And as the conversation turned to him and pop culture, a YES Network announcer made a surprising revelation about his music preferences.
Aaron Boone, manager of the New York Yankees, is secretly – or not so secretly – a Swiftie. Taylor Swift has long ruled over the hearts of teenage girls all around the world. Kay answered, “I did not know that.” Marakovits continued, “His French mastiff that is no longer with us was actually named Taylor Swift ’cause his daughter Bella is also a big Taylor Swift fan. And they used to call the dog Tay-Tay. So obviously I needed to find out what Aaron Boone’s favorite Taylor Swift song is. It took a little while because there are so many good ones obviously – Blank Space, one of his favorites, and Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
Swift, who’s currently in the middle of her The Eras Tour, will perform at MetLife Stadium on May 28th. “He’s actually going tomorrow. He said he would take her to school, they would drive to school and they would jam out to Taylor Swift. So I need to get a GoPro in that car and see it,” Marakovits joked. The talented 12x Grammy Award winner has fans everywhere!
