Pop Icon Lady Gaga Once Found Comfort in Ex-new York Yankees Star Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez During a Very Difficult Time

There have been several excellent players playing the game of baseball. But Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez was different. Although he was also an exceptional hitter, Rodriguez was more of an entertainer in the game.

With a career that spanned over two decades, the Yankees star had a dream career in Major League Baseball. Apart from being an excellent hitter in baseball, Judge was quite famous in the Hollywood world, too. His relationships with several Hollywood A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Hudson are proof of it.

Not many people might know, but the former Yankees slugger once helped the pop sensation, Lady Gaga, during a very difficult situation. It is not that they were in a relationship or something similar. A-Rod just tried to be a good friend to Gaga.

When Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez reassured Lady Gaga to go through a difficult hip surgery

Per entertainment outlet, Page Six, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, and Lady Gaga, shared the same doctor for their medical surgery. It was nothing but a mere coincidence that A-Rod went through the same procedure as Gaga was about to go.

Unlike A-Rod, Lady Gaga was not feeling right about going through her hip surgery. But A-Rod was kind enough to comfort the pop icon during her difficult time.

Per Page Six, a source close to Gaga confirmed the same.

“It’s natural for anyone to be nervous ahead of this type of surgery, especially as a performer or athlete under tremendous pressure to make a quick recovery and be back at peak performance… Gaga was anxious, but Alex talked to her for a while and was able to reassure her,” the source told Page Six in 2013.

When talking about Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, the former Yankees slugger had an illustrious yet controversial career in MLB. 

With 696 home runs in his name, A-Rod also faced an MLB suspension for a year in 2014. Notably, MLB found him guilty of using steroids to enhance his performance during the early days of his baseball career.
