The nightmares just won’t end for Shohei Ohtani. While Ippei Mizuhara is reportedly in talks to plead guilty, more people are beginning to question Ohtani. Just a few hours ago, famous broadcaster Michael Kay showed his frustration at the two-way phenom escaping any accountability. Now, another podcast host has aired regarding Ohtani’s secretive ways. However, this one went one step ahead when he labeled Ohtani a “fraud.”

While Shohei Ohtani’s private ways have been known since his Los Angeles Angels days, lately they have come into everyone’s crosshairs. Multiple insiders and experts have alleged that the superstar gets preferential treatment and doesn’t have to answer tough questions. Recently, reports also emerged that some of his Los Angeles Dodgers teammates were also not big fans of his lack of media interaction. However, WFAN’s “Evan and Tiki” hosts’ words might be the most scathing of them all.

Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber began discussing the controversies surrounding Shotime recently.Shohei Ohtani is a fraud. Something is going on here,” Evan Roberts said. “Nothing about him is real. That’s my new conspiracy theory. I think everything about him that we’ve been told has been fraudulent. His dog is fraudulent. His marriage is fraudulent.

Later, Roberts speculated that Ohtani might not be what the world thinks he is. He then noted how the Dodgers and Ohtani “lied” about meeting the couple who caught his first home run. That made the hosts even more cynical about everything that Ohtani says. However, while that is questionable, one can’t help but see how the temperatures are slowly rising regarding Ohtani’s connection with Mizuhara.

While Ohtani’s getting questioned, Mizuhara is ready to take a major step in his investigation. Reports of this have again raised some eyebrows in the baseball world.

Shohei Ohtani’s saga takes a turn Ippei Mizuhara is ready to plead guilty

The New York Times reported that Ippei Mizuhara is currently in negotiations to plead guilty. If the former interpreter does so in front of the federal judge, it will confirm everything that Ohtani said in his press conference.

The investigation is allegedly rapidly nearing its end and even more evidence against Mizuhara has been found. People briefed on the matter have claimed that Mizuhara may have stolen more money from Ohtani than the $4.5 million previously reported. He may have also changed the settings on Ohtani’s bank account so that the superstar wouldn’t get notified about the transactions taking place in his bank account.
