Aaron Judge, before the third Red Sox game, talked about the difficulty of hitting a homer. However, his 60 home runs in 2022 stand conflicting with what he said. Judge, who’s currently having the best season of his career, is also leading the MVP race with the Yanks in contention for the World Series.

The 30-year-old outfielder made his MLB debut in 2016 with the Yanks. A season later, in 2017, he won the Rookie of the Year Award. He also won the home run derby, led the list of homers, made his first All-Star appearance, and his first Silver Slugger Award.

Everyone wants All Rise’s signature

Five years since 2017, Judge has repeated his brilliance in a more splendid fashion, standing just one home run away from Roger Maris’ record of 61.

However, Judge has now gone over four games without scoring his much-awaited 61st homer. Regardless, that hasn’t affected his fanbase. Everyone still adores Aaron Judge and everyone wants the outfielder’s autograph, including the kid, who saw no limits for his “favorite” player’s autograph.

A kid, decked in a blue Yankee-away kit, tried to reach Judge with extended hands. Reading his lips, his words were, “Please, Judge! You’re my favorite player!”

Will Aaron Judge continue in Pinstripes after 2022?

During the 2022 offseason, Judge and the Yankees failed to negotiate a $230 million contract for seven years, as offered by Brian Cashman. As a result, Judge entered 2022 as a free agent by signing a $19 million contract for one year with the Yanks. Now, after placing a risky bet on himself, the 30-year-old could be looking at an amount way over the original deal.

Amongst the many suitors who will pay the biggest price for Aaron Judge, ESPN analysis Stephen A. Smith fears that the Yank slugger will move to the New York Mets given their deep pockets.

He said, “I think that [Steve Cohen] is planning on breaking the bank for Aaron Judge, I think Aaron Judge knows it. I think Judge is going to get a $350 million deal minimum from Cohen. I’m scared that my Yankee is going to end up playing at Citi Field as a New York Met.”
