The Astros are presently contesting in the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. The first two games of the seven-game series got played at Minute Maid Park in Houston. While the following two games got scheduled to be played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. So the Astros are in Philadelphia to participate in the upcoming games.?The third game got scheduled to be played on Monday initially. But due to heavy rain, the game got postponed to Tuesday instead.

The Astros ordered pizza from a famous pizza joint in Philadelphia before the game. However, the pizzeria rejected the Astros’ order, resulting in a heavy debate among the baseball followers.?

The 14-time All-Star Jeter won five World Series championships during his playing tenure. Jeter played as the New York Yankees shortstop for his entire MLB career. On that note, the Yankees and the Boston Red Sox are known to be arch-rivals in baseball.?

Therefore, Jeter shared a hilarious memory from his playing days saying, “We were playing in Boston and we are facing Pedro. And I ordered a pepperoni pizza for lunch. Pizza came out with Pedro spelled across the top.” The ‘Pedro’ referred to here is the star pitcher Pedro Martinez, who once played for the Red Sox.?

Jomboy Media network reported the Astros’ pizza mishap on Twitter quoting, “Apparently the Astros tried to order food for their clubhouse from Angelo?s Pizzeria in South Philly but the owner straight up said no.”?
