It has been an incredible year for Louisiana State University in sports. From winning the national baseball to women’s basketball championships, LSU has made history in MLB’s 2023 Draft. Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews are the only teammates to go to no. 1 and 2 as prospects. Not only that, but the top draftee is now the subject of some dating rumors.

LSU’s other famous face, Olivia Dunne, has been making headlines for her lucrative NIL projects. Boasting a million-dollar empire, the highly successful gymnast has fueled the rumor mill about her personal life. Her latest excursion to Florida is more proof.

…or is it for Paul Skenes? The two LSU athletes have just completed their junior years with outstanding performances in their respective sports. Skenes helped the Tigers to a College World Series championship and is now a Pittsburgh Pirates prospect. As he got ready to make his rookie-level debut in Florida recently, Dunne’s social media activity showed she was nearby, supporting him.

The gymnast posted a few pictures to Instagram on her stories, with the first slide showing a collage of a selfie and a baseball stadium. The captain reads, “today’s agenda…” while the second slide is a picture of the ballpark at sunset, and the location tag reads, “Fort Myers, Florida.”

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed Dunne wearing Pirates merch, like a hat and glove, in pictures before. She congratulated Skenes and Crews for their MLB Draft selection and their championship win back in June. Although the latter is no surprise because Dunne is an LSU athlete herself, fans think the incidents are too much to be coincidences.

Neither Skenes nor Dunne have confirmed anything yet, and are enjoying all the speculation for now!

The Pirates prospect recently made his MiLB debut at Rookie-level Florida Coast League Pirates on August 10, Thursday. The pitcher successfully retired all three batters he faced, cementing his status as the No.1 overall MLB pick. As expected, Skenes’ 99- to 101-mph pitches were the highlight of the 11 pitches he threw, even breaking a bat at one point.
