Actions over words. LA Angels star player Shohei Ohtani replied to the hecklers with a smashing triple. The pitcher/ designated hitter/ outfielder for the Angels had some Blue Jays fans mocking him while he was batting.

The triples leader of 2021 has multiple awards to his name including the ‘Rookie of the year,’ when he made his debut in 2018. Even then, he cannot stop the opposing team’s fans from booing him.

So he chose to quit the Jays fans with his play and did that with the next ball he hit.

Did Shohei Ohtani let the heckling affect him?

LA Angels fought against the Toronto Blue Jays last night at their home ground. Rogers center became the place where ‘Shotime’ got mocked by the Jays fans. However, as they started shouting ‘overrated’, the two-way star Shohei Ohtani hit a two-run triple, and that was enough.

Therefore, it did not look like he let the booing affect him. Also, last night, the Angels did not let the opposing team score even one run and won the match with a whopping score of 0-12.

The two-time all-star player, Shohei Ohtani, is also a Most Valuable Player and has won the Silver Slugger and Player of the Year awards among others.

Ohtani’s franchise on sale?

Something major is coming up for the Los Angeles Angels as the owner Arte Moreno, announced on Tuesday that he has employed financial advisors to look for a possible sale of the franchise.  Details of the same are not cleared yet, but the rival teams think that Ohtani’s trade will be possible and even more viable after the sale of the franchise.

Apparently, it was the owner of the team that put a stop to Ohtani’s trade this season. But who knows what might happen after or if the franchise goes through a major change? It is of no shock that if this sale happens, there will be some huge changes happening to the team.
