Notably, the Yankees had sent Cabrera for the AAA assignment a few days back. Franchy Cordero and Matt Krook joined him to make room for the players coming off the injury list. But his appearance on returning from the minor league could help him keep his place in the main squad for longer. The left fielder scored a home run and an RBI in a 6-3 win over the Dodgers. He finished the game at an average of 1.000 and an OPS of 5.000 for another solid performance in his second season at the Yankees.
