It is all to battle for in the National League for the division series. The Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies are both in a battle to achieve the same. Given the proximity, it’s a tight battle, and every factor comes into play. As it can affect the result, no one wants to give any advantage to another. But the Braves made a blunder of forgetting it and committed a mistake. This seems to have impacted them, and thus they are now mulling over it.

A leak from the clubhouse boundaries became detrimental for the Braves. The reason is Orlando Arcia’s comment on Bryce Harper was meant as a boost. But its public appearance changed the situation. Harper instead used it as a motivation to guarantee a win amidst an epic stare-down, forcing an explanation from Arcia. But will it be enough to change the situation for the team?

The Atlanta Braves have dominated the entire season, breaking many records. This made them the favorite for the championship. But until they met the Philadelphia Phillies. Although the former stayed ahead of the latter the entire season, matters seem to have taken a different route.

The wild card entrants are now leading the division winners in the NDLS, all thanks to their latest dominating win. The Phillies homered it to win it with a score of 10-2 and Bryce Harper played a great knock of two runs and two HRs.

But it was his stare on Arcia that stole the show. And when Harper was asked about it, he came straight to the point with his direct response. He replied, “On the question, Did you enjoy staring him down? Yeah, I stared right at him”

The response was something Arcia expected, but he was not sure how Harper got to know about it. He said, “No, he wasn’t supposed to hear that. That’s why we were saying it in the clubhouse”

The explanation has come up in a manner of trying to change the situation before the upcoming battle. But will it be enough to stop the dominant Phillies?

Moreover, Arcia’s comments seem to have complicated the situation for them. While he has explained the case to calm the situation, it is unlikely to change the situation. If the Braves want to stay in the contest, they need to do better when they play in Philadelphia again in the competitive setup.
