After the blockbuster Shohei Ohtani bobblehead night (one that did unthinkable attendance numbers), fans are about to witness something similar again. Only this time it’s his compatriot – the $325 million pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. On June 13, the Los Angeles Dodgers are organizing Yamamoto’s very own Bobblehead night. However, there’s something even more special for the fans this time.

As the fans and the Blue Crew are getting ready for Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s bobblehead night, they’ve decided to make things even more memorable for at least one fan. While getting their hands on the rare bobblehead is always on top of every fan’s wishlist, there’s one thing that can push even that down the priority order. What’s that thing? Well! A chance to throw the ceremonial first pitch in the game.

“We are looking for a fan to throw out a ceremonial first pitch on my bobblehead night on June 13. If you are a fan of mine and interested, please enter,” Yoshinobu Yamamoto said in a video released by the Dodgers. The conditions are simple – fans need to send a short video explaining why they are the biggest fans of the $325 million ace.

After a thorough assessment, the Blue Crew will decide which fan will get to throw that elusive first pitch. So as of now, the fans have marked their calendars for June 13 – Dodgers vs the Texas Rangers.

As for bobbleheads, this bobblehead of Yamamoto is quite rare. FOCO has recently released another unique bobblehead featuring both the ace and the two-way phenom.

That’s right, the bobblehead shows Yamamoto and Ohtani holding a miniature version of themselves. But while the ace is rocking the classic Los Angeles Dodgers white, Shohei Ohtani is seen wearing the road gray. For fans who can’t make it to the stadium, these bobbleheads could prove to be a nice quirky addition to their collection. As for Yamamoto’s bobblehead night – it has a chance to be almost as big as Ohtani’s.
